‘The Voice in the Middle’ – Engaging young people, schools, communities and decisions makers in voice and influence through film based enquiry.
The Voice in the Middle is a series of nine collaborative film enquiries into how children and young people can be empowered to contribute to their own education. The series explores how pupil voice can be meaningful and effective and be heard, embraced and shaped by the adults who work with children. The Voice in the Middle project is a partnership project between Creative Partnerships, CapeUK, Lippy People, and 9 schools from West and South Yorkshire.
The Voice in the Middle project focussed on exploring the following overarching questions via an enquiry theme relevant to each school;
The films are a method of sharing ideas and learning. Each film enquiry has contributed enormously towards shaping the interactions and policies within each participating school as they prove to be fascinating, thought provoking, stimulating and rich in diversity and opinion.
